This privacy policy explains how Jarvis Discord Bot ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our Discord bot.
Information We Collect
When you use Jarvis Discord Bot, we collect the following information:
Discord ID: We collect your Discord ID to associate your account with the bot and enable certain features. (eg data to do with levels if enabled ,adventure etc
Messages: We may collect and store the messages you send to the bot for the purpose of processing your requests. These messages are deleted once processed, except in the case of moderation where a log is kept for the purpose of carrying out the bot's functions.
Command Logs: We log commands for troubleshooting purposes and store them for up to 30 days.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to operate and improve Jarvis Discord Bot and to provide you with the best possible user experience. Specifically, we may use your information to:

AI and OpenAI ChatGPT Integration

All AI-generated responses and data are intended for user support but may include automated decisions.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. However, we may share your information in the following circumstances:
1) With our service providers, who process data on our behalf and are contracted to process data such as the server provider Hetzner, which runs the server Jarvis uses even though they don't access it.
With OpenAI when the AI command *chat or the bot is mentioned or replied to with the ping on.

We will retain your information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Security
We take appropriate measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
Children's Privacy
Jarvis Discord Bot is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.

User Control Over Data
Servers may use the logging features on Jarvis within Discord channels which, as a result, are under their control. J.A.R.V.I.S does not keep any personally identifiable data on the bot's servers except that which is given through a command and can be deleted through the command mydata forgetme or by sending a DM on Discord to bencos18 or using the bot's contact command.
